    Is a charity to benefit residents in Sturton, Stow, Bransby, Normanby and surrounding districts, it was incorporated at a meeting on the 16th November 2011.

  • Logo

    Foreground is the River Till, and one of her many bridges. The crossroad depicts Tillbridge Lane crossing the  Saxilby / Stow roads. Tillbridge Lane was a major Roman route across the River Trent to Segelocum.  The Swan belonged to St Hugh of Avalon, Bishop of Lincoln, 1186 to 1200, who resided in his manor house at Stow Park.

    The Village Hall, High Street, Sturton-by-Stow, LN1 2AE.

  • Activities:

    An event is held each calendar month.  
    From January through to June we have a Speaker usually on a Wednesday evening, but please see our events page. 
    In July we hold a Saturday Open Day.  
    In August we visit a place of historical interest.  
    From September through to November once again we have visiting Speakers.
    In October we exhibit at the Sturton & Stow Show.
    In December we have a history quiz and social evening.
    In November / December we visit Sturton and Stow Christmas Fayres.

  • Collections:

    Our collection continues to grow and includes documents, photographs, and artefacts, all kindly donated by residents, and friends home & abroad.
